Energy surcharge

To produce some of the world's best composite materials, energy is required. Previously, we have accounted for fluctuations in the energy market through a variable energy surcharge. We are now phasing that out, so that as a customer, you will always be provided with the precise, current price for the requested product.

Phase-out of energy surcharge

From 2 April 2025, we will phase out our energy surcharge. This means that quotes made after 2 April 2025 are not covered by the energy surcharge. Instead, energy costs will be included in the prices indicated. 

Fixed price agreements entered into before 2 April 2025, as well as quotes valid during the transition period, will be subject to an energy surcharge when invoicing the order according to our usual calculation model:

  • The energy supplement is calculated based on an average of spot prices for natural gas and electricity over the past three months. The energy surcharge is adjusted monthly.
  • According to the above, if your order is subject to an energy supplement, a 3% energy supplement will be applied for orders invoiced in the period from 1 April 2025 to 30 April 2025.
